There are two ways to create a new Position in BrightHire:

  1. Use the Positions module within the BrightHire app to create a new Position. Only Site Admins, and Recruiters if configured as such, can do this. Site Admins, Hiring Team Admins, and Recruiters, if configured that way, can manage a Hiring Team.
  2. If your organization is integrated with an ATS, the first time a user interviews for a new Position, a Position will be created in BrightHire. The first interviewer who interviews for this Position will be added to the Hiring Team and assigned a default role on the Hiring Team - the role that is assigned by default is is configurable in each organization’s settings.
