Once you’ve integrated Greenhouse with BrightHire, you can choose to have BrightHire automatically join all interviews for all roles where an active BrightHire user is listed as an interviewer.
Permissions Required: BrightHire Site Admin
Enable Auto Join
Navigate to the BrightHire Settings Page (Auto-join by position).
You’ll see a list of positions being pulled from Greenhouse into BrightHire. Here, you can individually toggle Auto Join on or off for specific positions.
Check Join all Video Interviews to allow BrightHire to automatically capture all interviews for that position.
What to Expect When Auto Join is ON
When Auto Join is ON:
BrightHire will automatically capture all interviews for the selected position(s), including every future interview and those already scheduled. When Auto Join is OFF:
Interviews for the selected position(s) will not be automatically captured. However, interviewers can still manually add BrightHire to an interview by using the Interview with BrightHire button in Google Calendar, provided they are not on the exclusion list (details below).
User Exclusion List
In your user settings, under Excluded Users, you can exclude specific users from Auto Join. This feature is helpful if certain interviewers prefer not to be recorded. Adding a user to this list ensures that their interviews will NOT be automatically captured by BrightHire, even for positions with Auto Join enabled.
Note:
If an excluded user joins an interview using Interview with BrightHire in Google Calendar or manually adds BrightHire to an interview, the interview will still be captured.
Excluding BrightHire Interview Capture by Stage
There may be situations where your organization wants to exclude certain interview stages from being automatically captured by BrightHire. To set this up:
Go to the Exclude Stage settings in BrightHire (admin access required).
Enter the name of the stage you want to exclude or a keyword or phrase. Any interview stage that contains this word or exact phrase will not be captured by BrightHire, even for roles with Auto Join enabled.
