Candidate Alerts help recruiters improve candidate experience and close top talent more effectively. This tool automatically analyzes interviews to provide valuable insights and action items.

Key features

  • Closing risk alerts: Alerts highlight crucial details such as competitive offers, compensation discussions, and other concerns raised by candidates.

  • Action Item alerts: The feature identifies key follow-up tasks promised by you or other team members during interviews.

Where to find Candidate Alerts

  • BrightHire Homepage: Access alerts through a new tab in the activity feed on the right side of the page.

  • Candidate Pages: View closing risks flagged for specific candidates you're interviewing.

  • ATS Integration: Alerts are available on both the ATS homepage and individual candidate pages within the ATS.

Using Candidate Alerts:

  • Alerts are categorized as read or unread, with unread alerts marked by a red dot.

  • Click on an alert to view its description and access detailed information.

  • Use the provided link to jump to the exact moment in the interview where the alert was captured.

  • Pay attention to closing risks, which may indicate the need to move candidates through the process more quickly.

FAQ:

Q: Who can see “Closing Risk” alerts?

A: Closing Risk alerts are visible to anyone who has access to view the underlying interview. There isn’t a separate “alerts-only” role or a role-based restriction (for example, “recruiters + hiring managers only”) specific to Closing Risk.

Visibility follows BrightHire’s standard interview access rules (for example, site admins and recruiters with broad access, and hiring-team members who have access to that interview).

The only high-level control available today is enabling or disabling Candidate Alerts at the org level, which applies to everyone (it’s not configurable per role).
