Troubleshoot BrightHire Scorecard Issues in Greenhouse

If you are experiencing issues with BrightHire scorecards in Greenhouse, the following steps can help you resolve them:

Troubleshooting BrightHire Scorecards in Greenhouse

Scorecards Are Not Auto-Populating for Specific Users

If a user is not seeing the BrightHire autofill banner on their Greenhouse scorecard or feedback form, it's usually because they have not been added to your BrightHire account or their extension is not functioning properly.

Step 1: Confirm the User Has a BrightHire Account

  1. Log in to BrightHire.

  2. Navigate to User Management.

  3. Verify that the affected user has been added to the account.

  4. If the user is missing, add them and send an invitation.

Step 2: Check Seat Availability

If you've reached your account's seat limit:

  1. Reassign an existing seat to the new user.

  2. Resend the invitation if needed.

  3. Ensure the user accepts the invitation and activates their account.

Step 3: Reinstall the BrightHire Chrome Extension

If the user has an active BrightHire account but still doesn't see the autofill banner:

  1. Remove the BrightHire Chrome Extension from Chrome.

  2. Reinstall the latest version of the extension.

  3. Sign back in if prompted.

  4. Refresh Greenhouse and try again.

Expected Result

Once the user has an active BrightHire account and a functioning Chrome Extension, BrightHire scorecard autofill should appear and work as expected.

BrightHire Options Still Appear in Greenhouse After Cancellation

If you've canceled your BrightHire subscription but still see BrightHire-related options in Greenhouse scorecards, the most common cause is the BrightHire Chrome Extension.

Although the BrightHire integration may be disabled, the Chrome Extension can continue injecting BrightHire elements into the Greenhouse interface.

Resolution

  1. Open Chrome's Extensions page.

  2. Locate the BrightHire Chrome Extension.

  3. Select Remove or Uninstall.

  4. Refresh Greenhouse.

Expected Result

After the extension is removed, BrightHire options will no longer appear in Greenhouse scorecards.
