If you’re getting an “upcoming interview” email/Slack alert that seems wrong, it’s usually because BrightHire is still seeing an older or duplicate version of a scheduled interview after changes were made.
Why this can happen
• Rescheduled/canceled interviews: some scheduling tools/ATS updates can briefly leave both the original and the rescheduled interview in BrightHire, which can trigger reminders for the old time too.
• Interviewer changes not fully synced: if an interviewer is removed/swapped in the scheduler, BrightHire may still think they’re assigned and notify them.
• Duplicate interview records: if the same interview is accidentally imported twice, you may get duplicate notifications.
