How It Works (Step-by-Step)

When a new position is opened in your ATS (Greenhouse only for now), BrightHire jumps into action:

  1. Enable it on this BrightHire Settings Page

  2. Match check: We scan for similar past roles.

  3. Candidate check: We look for candidates with 2+ recorded BrightHire interviews.

  4. JD parsing: We parse the new job description and compare it to past interview and resume data.

  5. Smart resurfacing:

    • We rank past candidates based on how well they match the new role

    • We factor in interview transcripts, resumes, and historical scorecards
      ​

  6. No-go filters: We automatically exclude candidates who:

    • Were rejected in the last 9 months for lack of skills or not meeting the hiring bar

    • Declined offers in the last 9 months due to role misalignment, comp issues, etc.

  7. Reconnect

    • I you identify a candidate you'd like to reconnect with, click the "reconnect" button
